How to ligh your Christmas tree

Your Christmas tree is at the centre of your festive celebrations, decorating and lighting your tree will help it become the centre piece of your home.  

Varieties of lights

  • Incandescent lights have been use for years. They are inexpensive and come in a variety of styles and colours.
  • LED Lights (light-emitting diode) give of bright white light of feature bulb covers in various shapes and colours. These lights normally cost more but they're 85% more energy-efficient and can last up 40 Festive seasons. 
  • Coloured lights create a festive look and conjure memories from childhood.
  • Icicle lights for your gutters, fence or garage are easy to fix up, come in cool white, blue or blue and white.
  • Cluster Lights are great for creating a good impact  on your tree or garland due to their short bulb distance.
  • Micro wire lights these new style of lights are great to fill the inside of a lantern/ bottle or even wrap around a small bush in the garden.
  • Battery operated lights are great for use in places where power is in short supply and most come with timers built in.
